President Trump is scheduled to arrive in the UK on Tuesday for a second three-day state visit. He will be accompanied by a delegation of U.S. executives, including Nvidia Corp. Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang and OpenAI’s Sam Altman.

As part of various deals expected during the visit, BlackRock plans to invest USD 700 million in British data centres, Sky News reported on Saturday.

UK Technology Secretary Liz Kendall, appointed on Sept. 5, stated that “cutting-edge technology such as AI and quantum computing will transform our lives.” Both countries have also published AI Action Plans since the start of the year.

U.S. organisations like Anthropic and OpenAI are increasingly establishing international offices in London. Conversely, UK-based companies such as DeepMind continue to invest in trans-Atlantic collaborations.
