U.S. President Donald Trump is set to unveil USD 70 billion in artificial intelligence and energy investments during an event near Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

The announcement will take place at the first Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit, hosted by Republican Senator David McCormick at Carnegie Mellon University.


According to a White House official and a person familiar with the initiatives, the investments will span multiple industries, including the development of new data centres and upgrades to the power grid.
