Huawei Launches New Matebook B Series Lineup for Businesses in SG
Huawei launched its newest lineup of business laptops for corporate owners and commercial users in Singapore on 17 November 2021.
The new lineup, the Huawei MateBook B Series, features all-new processors, displays, improved reliability, security and a more seamless experience for users in their workplace. Huawei's new lineup was said to have been designed to support the many needs of business users in any industry.
The laptops in the MateBook Series line come equipped with a TPM2.0 security chip as a security solution to secure user data confidentiality, integrity and usability. Additionally, the chip can save and manage BIOS and hard-drive passwords as well as support the encryption of system and app login credentials.
The new lineup comprises of the MateBook B3-420 and MateBook B7-410, two specialised laptops for general use and high performance respectively.
The jack-of-all-trades of the two, the Huawei MateBook B3-420, is a lightweight and portable laptop that features a metal build and minimalist design. It comes with an 11th-Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB of RAM and PCIe NVMe SSD for storage. The laptop's screen has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and Flicker-Free certification.
Huawei equipped the laptop with one USB Type-C port, a USB3.2 Gen 1 port, one USB2.0 port, and an HDMI port. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a miniRJ45 port.
Finally, the MateBook B3-420 has Huawei Share, a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6 support and fast charging capabilities. Huawei says that these features turn the laptop into a productivity tool and an intelligent assistant that could help users excel at work, academics and everything in between.
The other laptop, the MateBook B7-410, is the more professional of the two and the new lineup's flagship model. It comes with a 13.9-inch 3K touchscreen display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. It is also lightweight and portable, weighing only 1.33kg; this makes the laptop ideal for people who are constantly on the go.
The whole lineup, including the MateBook B3-420 and MateBook B7-410, has Multi-screen Collaboration pre-installed. This feature allows users to connect the laptops to Huawei smartphones, tablets or monitor displays - giving a user the benefit of working smarter and more efficiently with two devices on a single display.
Businesses that have Huawei as a business partner would enjoy a full suite of service and support solutions. This suite includes a 3-year warranty covering all products and onsite technical assistance to perform troubleshooting and repair.
