Intel to Invest Further in Malaysian Operations

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said U.S. chipmaker Intel has announced an additional investment in the country. The investment, totalling 860 million ringgit ($208 million), is earmarked for Intel's assembly and testing operations in Malaysia.

Anwar said in a social media post on Monday that the announcement followed a meeting between himself and Intel Chief Executive Officer Lip-Bu Tan.
